Time to GET ON!! It's the final day in the TJJ Notting Hill 2008 Fete-lympics® ... and if Chocolate Mas 2k8 is anything to go by, it will be level jamming on the road today!! Lagniappe, one of the UK's main bands, say they leaving 10.30am sharp, and the TJJ Blue Team in dat!! Breakfast was served for all masqueraders from 8.00am, but Team TJJ still recovering from yesterday - Chocolate Mas, Abir After Party and J'Ouvert Business 5.0. So damn, we missed de food and reach in the band about 11.00am. Where de "Jamishness"???

Turning onto Ladbroke Grove, the sun is yet to come out but the sexy sailors and Lagniappe ladies refuse to let that stop them. We moving ... the mas start ... and you would swear some of these masqueraders had not been going non stop for the weekend!! This year the presentation was 'Bird Sanctuary' incorporating Incognito/Busspepper's 'Shipwrecked' and TriniPosse UK's 'Scarlet Ibis' ... and with music from Gladiators, BBC 1xtra and Trinidad's High Fidelity/Less than Zero, the vibez from Shipwrecked All Inclusive and Chocolate Mas were flowing through the band from d start. There were people stopping de crew and buying costumes on d road to join the band one time!!!

An hour or so into the madness, Lagniappe decide to stop for lunch. Hmmmm, alright.. we not hungry, yet we just ate breakfast!!! But we will need our energy for the jamishness later!!! This was the most organised part of the day with a very British queue to get yuh food and men marking off yuh band after you take ah food!!! Ah love it!!

A short while later, and lunch and relaxation done ... time for the true bacchanal to begin, and we on d move again. This is where d madness really begin ... I see a man like he hire himself two dancers for the weekend, and they jamming all how - on d ground, on their heads and on any and everybody!!! For a small band they were full of fun and vibez ... but anybody see a security?? That's right the security in d back, wining, jamming and having a time. So, very quickly .... no ropes (who say d rope too short?) ... hahhahhahaha ... no barriers .... and the Lagniappe vibez start to spread, and before long you could not tell d crowd from d masqueraders. It didn't stop us though! When snacks start to come through the band in a shopping trolley, one girl waste no time in jamming the trolley ... and a man like he had to take piece of the action!! But, is it me or did he need a little booster!!!!! That's right .. wine on a pole, wine on yuh head, wine on a trolley. Find something, anything!!!

Next thing I hear the DJ start to spin some dancehall. Well boy, wrong timing! The band overrun with wannabe revellers and we only attracting more. Not only this, but my boy stop d music and start to talk about Usain Bolt and his gold medals!!!! Well hmmm ... I glad for him yes, but kill the talk ... it's Carnival time!!!!!! Let's jam!!!

Once we turn back onto d Grove, it's time to cut out. The band too crazy now .. everybody want a piece of the action and Lagniappe say na ... we heading back to jam by d camp. I'll finish by saying .. a small band with real vibez!! People were having ah time. But Roddy and crew, next year we need security, serious security!!! Let the people who pay their money get their full monies worth!!!
